An entrepreneur and an avid music lover got struck with an idea to re-define the way we discovered “fresh” music! The idea was to let upcoming bands showcase their music talent and for fans and enthusiasts to explore, listen, share and buy songs and other independent compositions. This paved way for OK!Listen
"Creating difference: Lean Roadmap and a Responsive Omnipresence"
Webonise worked with OK, Listen team since inception of the idea to launch. An array of sessions, brainstorming and (arguments) went into defining and executing the “Leanest” product roadmap built on bootstrap budget. Across, all these sessions and our development days, Webonise team focussed on retaining the driving edge of the product: Discover, Share and Buy. The app was also built responsive to ensure omnipresence and seamless experience across platforms irrespective of screen sizes.
OK! Listen at its beta stage has created quite a buzz, not only in India but all over the world. The app was generously received by media and an array of band and music fraternity across the world. Today, there are countless fans and OK!Listen users who listen and buy their favorite songs at an affordable cost. Many of the independent bands and artists enjoy an unparalleled attention with recognition and popularity from all the quarters.
Farmers struggled with surveying vast and at times inaccessible terrains. The solution had to be a tool that can give them precise information about their crop so that they can take more timely decisions in the areas of irrigation, pesticide application and crop management, which in turn can offer them better profit margins. This was made possible by the “Bird”, an unmanned aerial remote sensing vehicle developed by Wine-Hawk Labs. The “Bird” is designed to carry several high precision sensors which can collect wide array of useful data. All the collected information is georeference tagged and time-stamped, and helps the users to conduct geo-spatial analysis using various GIS (GEO Information System) tools.
"Highend remote sensing, Intelligent Algorithms and a well crafted infrastructure"
We jumped onboard when the Winehawk team needed an infrastructure intensive app called Flight planner. The app communicates with the bird to define the flight path that should be taken to capture images so that it can generate the most relevant data points at different elevations and angles. We then came up with a corresponding medium to pull the relevant data from the “Bird”and process it using right algorithms.
The first takers of this technology marvel was universities in likes of Purdue and IU. The app also garnered tremendous interests from companies in Agricultural technology industry, to an extent that some of the major names decided to invest in the technology that processes collected data and extracts sensible information out of it.
Check-in for Good was started to allow is a platform which tries to make fund-raising, an easier and fun process, through the use of technology and social media. It works as fundraising and community awareness tool for causes. It’s all about, doing good by Checkin-in at the businesses in your community. It is designed to benefit the various causes, local business communities and the supporters.
Strong Brand and UI Lead to Passionate Users
The idea was to save money, make businesses grow and gain new customers and above all, assist organizations to raise money- All of this with a single “Check-in”. Sounds impracticable!!We made it possible. We worked as the principal consultants for Check-in for Good. The design team ensured that the UI/UX is fun-to-use while the developers strived to make it simple, but multi-purpose. We built it as an exemplary tangible traceable system for the social media, which reports the number of mentions that app users make to their FB friends or twitter followers. It is a native application that works cross-platform on iPhone and Android apart from the official web portal.
After a successful beta launch, Check-in for Good, closed a major Series A round investment.
