“Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.”

As endless as your dreams and aspirations are, your capabilities and skills are just as limitless. Having the right mindset and viewing things with a positive perspective are the two key factors that will keep you headed to the right direction. Keep that creative in you, alive and kicking. Need some inspiration? We’ve got you covered! Here is an impressively curated list of design inspirations by Webonise Sr. UI/UX designer Milind Chaskar.

It’s been said that web design is 95% typography. Today with the growing popularity of web fonts and modern CSS techniques, there are thousands of fonts available for web. McDonald’s ‘40 together’ takes the cake when it comes to the creative use of typography on its web design. The fonts and layout used is appealing for all users of all ages. Site interactions are also quite engaging despite the fact that the layout is somewhat unusual. I think that has added an additional charm to the site. Find it here: 40together.com

Mobile Patterns

Out of the 6.8 billion people on earth today, 4 billion own a mobile phone. Browsing sites and using apps through their phones has become an integral part of their daily lives. They use their mobile devices to do almost everything; from buying movie tickets to shopping to booking flight/bus/train tickets. But with the increasing number of apps available for consumption today, quality fails from time to time. Mobile Pattern gives recognition to those that have taken their user interface pattern quite seriously and have executed it beautifully. It offers a curated library of iPhone and Android app user interface patterns. Find a steady stream of app screenshots that will surely freshen up your design perspectives.

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”

Liberio I love everything about this site. The use of flat design, subdued colors and clean UI are all appropriate for what the site offers, its content and demographic. The thin fonts and simple illustrations were also very appealing. I’ll give making an eBook a try if the tool is this well-designed!

Franz Sans

franzsans Sharp angles combined with round corners made Franz Sans appear both powerful and pleasant at the same time. The site took detail up a notch! They pointed out the very details of the font family, Franz Sans, that made it unique from the rest. Their preview tool is also quite cool. All you have to do is paste content into it and see how it looks on a browser.

“Good things come in small packages”

followbubble When people are happy and having fun while at work, it definitely shows through. Bubble’s website reflects the fun, carefree and positive vibe of the company. Their illustrations provided a more personalized appeal to the site while their beautifully photographed office space used in various part of the site are simply amazing. The About Us section is my favorite!

Beauty surrounds us. From that tiny drop of water to those flowers that bloom in season, I find it worthy of documentation, preserving its beauty on that very second.

Photography-1 Photography is a powerful medium of expression and communication. It offers me the freedom and relaxation to get away from chaos for a bit and be in my own world: Just me, my camera and the nature that surrounds me. Whenever i get the time to go outside the city, expect me to come back with a camera loaded with photos of flowers, bugs and other snap-worthy creations!
